the point of the thread was to restrict times but allow 2nd line lol Well, here's how I see it. EHM always matches line 1 versus line 3, so if you put your Hit and Grind on line 1 they'll match up with the other teams line 3, which is usually grinders/defensive forwards anyways. Howeve,r if you put it on line two, they're going to be playing against the other teams second lines fairly often, which will probably be a scoring line, and if they're running anything like run and gun (or anything other than running hit and grind back) they're going to be destroyed. So in that sense, it actually makes sense to allow it on line 1. But that's such a silly thing to do, it doesn't make sense balance wise. Also, it doesn't make sense realism wise either. People always say that things aren't realistic in EHM. There's too many goals, goalies aren't good enough, my superstar team shouldn't be losing to the 8th seed. If you want more realism, you don't want guys on your first line going out and throwing bodies constantly, you'd want scorers. Hit and Grind is a very broken tactic that only gets matched by another Hit and Grind line, which in most cases a team won't be running in their top six.

IMO i think it is kinda stupid to regulate what line(s) can play HAG.......you can actually match up 3rd or 4th line against a teams best line without a problem

I'm fine with either.
But I also don't think it's fair to change line restrictions after GM's have begun building their teams.
