GM BIGPETE'S DISSATISFACTION
As we can see the Montreal Canadiens had an excellent start, till everything start going downhill. Their currently sitting 9th in the East with just 2 pts from 8th place and Tampa Bay is sitting there with 59 pts while the Habs have 57 pts. "We have nobody else to blame than us, we weren't playing good and we let each of us down, their were a few games where Carey was left alone and abandoned, and we feel he deserved more support than what he received all year long" Said team captain Brian Gionta after the teams morning practice ."The whole team wasn't mentally prepared and focused and that's the reason for our non-success, a few players were accounted for and they will be evaluated and monitored, if trading them is the option, so then be it, as a Gm I have to give the best product on the ice as our fans deserve what they pay for, and it's unfair to them coming here and seeing their team failing. I have to address to those issues" Said Gm Bigpete in his press conference. With the acquisition of Latendresse will come stabilize the 3rd line and give it more of a physical presence. "When I heard I was traded back to Montreal, I was overjoyed and excited, since Montreal gave me my first chance and playing in the Bell Center for the first time it was something, well an honor if you say that way. I really had fun in Montreal the first time around, but things didn't worked out well, hopefully my comeback will be better than the first, and I will help the team win and do my best to my talents to make things right, sadly due to my injury, I can't play for another three weeks, but I am training hard to be able to be 100% healthy." Said Latendresse after finding out that he was traded back to Montreal. With Bigpete's frustration, it's clear that he will try to change and fix those issues.
