As mentioned in the league PM, I will be distributing manual leadership boosts to players if they deserve them, as sometimes EHM is quite unfair.
Basically, if you feel like you have a player who qualifies for a boost to Leadership, post them here and state your case as to why using stats and examples.
I might turn you down for some players, so make sure you have a good case. I will do a maximum of three per team, but just because you're allowed three doesn't mean you should force a case for players who do not deserve it. Be honest and you'll be rewarded for it.
Also, this is for our league only. You cannot use real life examples or stats, strictly those from the past season.

1. Mark McNeill: Winner of Conn Smythe, led all players in the playoffs in scoring with a PPG+ pace. As a rookie, this should lead to a healthy leadership boost.
2. Taylor Hall: 2nd in scoring during the playoffs, and Won the Conn Smythe last year, Has played a big role in two champion ship roles on the top line, and has clearly done well in both runs. IMO he should be able to challenge Callahan for team C; currently is no where close
3. Michael Del Zotto: 17 points in 23 games, and played on the top pairing vs. other team's best players. Definitely performed in the playoffs, and is worthy of a boost. Has played the last two years as a top defender, earning a Norris last season.

I'm not sure if you need to have made the playoffs to get lead boosts but if not, here's my case.
1. Brent Burns: He just won the Norris trophy , 60 points in 81 games. He plays huge minutes in every situation and he's the pillar of my entire defense. Yet although he's 29 years old and a superstar he only has 65 in leadership, so I think he would deserve more like 75.
2. Steven Stamkos: Best player of the league rating-wise, he's a complete badass. Last year he got the Maurice Richard trophy and this year even if my team failed he still managed to get 87 points. Looking at other superstars, Crosby has 80 lead, Ovechkin has 73 and Malkin has 72, but Stamkos has 68. He should be up there with the pack.
3. Mike Cammalleri: He had a killer season with 60 points in 62 games. Been producing like mad on my second line. I know youre not supposed to bring up real life reasons for why players deserve a boost, but if you look up his playoff career stats, in 2009-2010 with Montreal he got 13 goals and 19 points in 19 games, and in 2010-2011 he got 10 points in 7 games. An insanely good playoff point producer, he deserves a ton more lead than the 69 he currently has.

Brad Stuart D 34 3600000 2 43 62 67 64 77 77 80 77 75 70 51 71 77 64 78 72
Brad was San Joses best player in the playoffs stepping up when the team needed him most, he led the team with 10 points in 10 games.
Cody Hodgson C 24 2800000 3 61 69 82 80 73 82 65 80 84 74 98 56 68 77 73 77
At age 24 Cody has already helped lead the Sharks to a division title. He played on a line beside Calder Trophy winner Tomas Hertl and showed him the ropes all year. The two also battled for the team lead in points for the first half of the season with Hodgson finishing second on the team with 66 points and leading the team in assists with 41.Cody also put up 9 points in 10 playoff games. Not asking for him to be captain material or anything just a boost.
Ryan Miller G 33 6000000 5 51 80 80 80 80 80 82 80 76 82 81 73 80 80 80 80
Miller carried nearly the entire load for the sharks this year playing in 64 regular season games with a 2.30 GAA. His solid playoff performance is another reason for a boost.

Curtis Lazar C 19 750002 3 82 76 76 82 72 73 77 74 72 74 73 54 56 78 74 74
Lead my team on a tear through the playoffs after only a handful of games during the regular season, more than doubled his season point total in the playoffs in only 5 more games. Finished 2nd in points for the playoffs and was an impressive +10.

HAHAHAHAHA now you have just opened the floodgates Commish I would say not, since only 3 people posted before I did. It seems like no one is interested in it. Also, he said he won't do everyones choices, but it's obvious that sometimes players don't get anything

Dustin Brown: Played really well for my team in the playoffs finishing with 22Pts in 20GP (4th in playoff scoring). He deserves a boost for leading the team in points for both regular season and post-season.
Mike Richards: Was once the captain of Philadelphia and a consistent player in the game. 32goals,32assists,64pts in the regular season. Collected 18pts in 20 games in the playoffs.
Jeff Carter: It's too bad he was injured for a good chunk of the regular season and played just 65 games. He is tied for 3rd in goal scoring on my team which is still impressive considering the time he missed. In the playoffs he was a scoring threat with 10goals (tied for 3rd).
These three really played great and brought their A game in the playoffs. I would see Brown and Carter on the goal column for almost every game. They are the reason why my team made it to the western conference finals taking the blackhawks to game 7. This is a huge improvement considering my team got knocked out early in the quarter finals last season.
